The easiest way to get long waited trophy where only 5 wins lead you to silver pot and we're out of competition after round one thanks to our coach Ange Postecoglou. He decided to put second line up against mid table Premier League side who just draw against Arsenal away 2:2 - Fulham. I am asking for what did he save first lineup when we are not playing Europe ? Maybe for theater, cinema I don't understand ? I could understand if he made one or two changes to first lineup, but that many was looking for trouble. Believe that combination of Skipp, Hojbjerg and Lo Celso can dominate against any Premier League opponent is deeply wrong. They can not dominate against Championship side! I am not sure they would do that against Crawley Town too. A lot of away fans who came to watch the game, who made atmosphere like it's playing at home didn't have to wait long for trouble. We went on back foot since minute 1 and it was just question when we are going to concede with defense also weakened with Sanchez in it. We didn't wait for to long and conceded around 20th minute. We could and should concede at least one if not two more before half time, but Forster saved shot. On the other side we didn't connect with the ball. We were not any kind of threat with Perisic who trips over ball, can't pass, can't beat his man, can't finish with Solomon who need more games to come into form who didn't show anything a part from one good shot in second half yesterday and Richarlison who can't hold or pass the ball or make himself space for shot at all. In second half when fraud of player Lo Celso went out and Scarlett came in we looked little better. Perisic did only good thing during the game, did only thing he can actually do and it is to cross ball, found Richarlison who scored by head. I am glad because this player learnt he should target far post from that position and not near like in Bournemouth. However that goal doesn't mean Perisic or Richarlison had good game. It was so far away from that. Why was open saboteur like Hojbjerg in squad until the end I can't understand. He came in vs Manchester United and created them chance with ill cross field pass, he did same vs Bournemouth and against Fulham he got ball with plenty of space and time on around 7-8 meters from goal and he shot like 5 meters wide of goal ? He repeated that near the end with shooting drones after corner. Him and Lo Celso already left club in their minds and should be removed from first squad after this and if possible sold in this transfer window. Son and Kulusevski came in to late, Madders came few minutes before the end. Last one made big chance but his two stupid team mates were not positioned where they should be inside the box and chance has gone. Then we saw another Ange masterclass which was to expect Forster will save penalty or Sanchez will score from it. LoL! All in one well deserved elimination versus far better team who took this competition seriously and 100% guilt for this is on Ange Postecoglou. Not to connect with ball in entire first half in front of so many of your fans was disgrace! I don't want to see Skipp and Hojbjerg together in any line up in the future!
